The BE800 rocking the same chip has been getting frequent updates, yet no update for this model.

Thanks for your sharings.
Sorry that we don't get advanced notice of whether there will be new updates being released or when a feature update will be available. The way we do firmware is that we only release a new version when there is a bug/flaw/vulnerability to patch or a new feature to add, but since I am not in software development, I cannot provide a definite answer. We recommend keeping an eye on our official website for any new firmware updates if there would be any.
Regarding the status, I can confirm that your models are not yet End of Life (EOL). You can refer to the list of EOL products on our website here, and your model is not included. The absence of new firmware updates does not imply that the product is EOL. Instead, it signifies that the product is functioning properly. If you encounter any issues, kindly provide detailed information, and we will do our best to assist and find a solution.

@Marvin_S The BE900 v1 has indeed gone end of life.
Requesting your assistance to get me upgraded from BE900 v1 to v2.
I have the original invoices and both the BE900s are in pristine condition.

It's on the website. Moreover, the India page has completely removed the product last night.
