The most correct thing would be to warn potential new buyers (not only friends and family) of this router about its shortcomings and limitations so that they do not spend their money. I think that today not having wireguard makes it a basic, obsolete and discontinued product.

I sold all 4x TP-Link routers and bought 4x G.L-i.n.e.t. 4x F.l.i.n.t 2. That was the best decision. OpenSource (OpenWRT) and as a customer you are not taken for a fool. The router has plenty of CPU power and lots of flash memory for additional applications. For 160€ in Germany at Amazon!

Agreed. I am OUT. No Wireguard on my fairly new AX73 V1.... only slow OpenVPN... Can't flash a better firmware etc. Guess which brand I am NOT buying anymore? lol TP-LINK you blew it. All you had to do was update our firrmware with wireguard... but all your money goes to the latest and greatest wifi7 garbage when no one has those speeds coming into their house. Good work.
