Great news! We are so excited to share a public beta version of firmware for Archer AX73 V1 with the community, which has proven to improve the overall OpenVPN performance. If you're using the OpenVPN feature on your AX73, don't hesitate to upgrade and install this beta firmware to try it out.
Download link:
Archer AX73(US/TW)_V1_1.2.6 Build 20230607 (public beta release)
Archer AX73(EU)_V1_1.2.6 Build 20230621 (public beta release)
Archer AX55_V1_1.2.6 Build 20231030 (new public beta release updated on Nov 2, 2023, which also adds EasyMesh Ethernet Backhaul, ECO Mode, DoT&DoH, etc.)
Notes:
1. Please be sure you have read the Terms and Conditions for TP-Link Beta Firmware before proceeding!
2. You can still upgrade to the official firmware if there is any.
3. Some new features would not be available when the router works in Access Point mode.
4. This public beta firmware for Archer AX55 can be applied to all versions (EU/US/JP/TW/etc.).
Improvements and Modifications:
- Optimized the overall OpenVPN performance.
- Upgraded OpenSSL to version 1.1.1t.
- Fixed several bugs related to OpenVPN.
We encourage you to upgrade to this public beta release and provide us with your feedback. Thank you very much.

Ok can confirm rebooting just in general takes an extra 2 minutes at least.
So the usual timed 0-100% progress bar for reboots no longer is correct.

@Kevin_Z the tplink tether won't login to the router remotely after the new firmware is installed on the sx73 so far everything is working but the tether

@Kevin_Z yes the new firmware has increased the response time on the web interface as well
hope in the future tplink can incorpare the quic protcol on there router & switchs

tried cloudflare gateway dns 172.64.36/.1 8.8.8.8 the dns has improved more reponseive using the wan dns seting not the lan setting the beta firmware works very well stable
