Unknown hidden SSID from the MR600. What is it and how do I deactivate it?
Hi
During a WiFi scan I found a hidden SSID from the MR600 that has the same MAC-Address as my main SSID.
Guest network is disabled and my main SSID is not hidden.
What is it? How do I deacitvate it? Do others have it too?

Hi, I have the same problem, i bought this router last week to connect to my existent infra-structure and i cannot turn off tha radios completely. The router still emitting 2 hidden ssids which are colliding with my others ssids, degrading my existent wifi network. Do you already have a sollution for this our i'll have to return this product ?
Best regards,
Filipe M

Hi, now we have a beta firmware that adds the OneMesh on/off button on the Archer MR600(EU) V1 and Archer MR200(EU) V5 which could turn off the hidden SSID if OneMesh is not needed;
If you are interested in the firmware, please feel free to leave me a private message;
Thank you.

@TP-Link I have black listed certain devices through Securtiy-> access control. But, I can still connect to the router manually through hidden network. MR600 shows the device with different MAC address in the connected list. And if I black list that MAC address, again the same device connects again with different MAC through hidden network.

Hello @kernash and all,
If you want to disable the Onemesh hidden network on the router, please install the beta firmware we provided here as a workaround:
https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/267610
There will be a new official firmware including the option to disable the Onemesh in the near future, for those who don't want to install the beta version, please keep an eye on your router web GUI or the official website, and wait for the new official firmware patiently.
