problems with internet access of LG TV via MR6400
problems with internet access of LG TV via MR6400
I bought new MR6400 v4 and new LG TV 50UK6470PLC.
I am using 4G connection via Tele2 provider.
I have set up router following instruction from the manual,
and it went well for all devices except TV.
Few laptops, few cell phones/tablets (android) all having normal internet access via WIFI.
TV connects to internet but cannot access i.e. LG content store,
it connects to Youtube (via LG application) but I can not choose any video and play it.
But it connects to web browser (LG application),
so I run Ookla speed test and got 30Mbps download and 0Mbps upload,
rigtht afer that I run same test on Laptop and got same 30Mbps download but 5-6Mbps upload.
I have tried WIFI and cable connection with same result.
(when I connect TV via hotspot of Samsung S7 or another router everything works fine).
Both firmwares are uptodate.
Any ideas what to do?
Thank you

Click here to create the profile manually to give it a shot.
You can try to adjust the wireless settings as well, for example, change the wireless channel and channel width.
Meanwhile, you can contact the tech support of the LG TV to get some suggestions cause they are more professional about their own devices.

I've tried with manually created profile, but there is no difference.
I am waiting on LG support to answer,
but as I wrote before, TV works perfectly when connected to my home WiFi, or to my phone hot spot.
Any other ideas?
tnx

@EmJP I have the same problem with TL-MR6400 and LG 55UJ63, all apps are not connecting the internet except for Netflix. I've connected the tv to other routers and it works just fine!!
let me know if you've found a solution or got a response from LG.

@EmJP Hi, I'm having the same issue. All devices connected to my wifi network work without problems, except for apps on LG TV (Netflix app excluded, it streams normally). Router uses Tele2 4g mobile internet in Croatia. I've found that if you change DNS number in network setting on the LG TV from automaticalyl assigned number to 8.8.8.8 the problem is resolved. But if I disconnect the TV from the network (because I have to move the modem to different location from time to time), with those DNS numbers the TV won't connect to the Internet. So I have to switch back to automatically assigned values to connect the TV to the Interenet, and then change the DNS again. Did you guys figure out if there are any setting in the router that I could change to avoid having to do this over and over?

Hello, you can change the router's DNS to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 have a try. Go to Network---LAN settings to change it. If you have other APN information, you can create a profile on the router and use different APN.
BTW, what's your router's hardware version and firmware version?
Did you resolve the issue?

Hi, the previous suggestion is trying to change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4: Advanced>network>LAN settings
If it is not working, Could you please provide more details on how the LG TV is not working with TL-MR6400, like no internet service, not able to access several websites?
And may I know the current hardware and firmware version of your TL-MR6400?
Thank you very much.
