@Pugs UPDATE: They are now connected, issue was that the edgerouter had to have a PVID 1added instead of previoulsy being tagged (VLAN 1). What has happened with the new software that has changed...

Thanks @R1D2, I had that already setup. Also, tried different firewall rules, disabled etc but still the same. No matter what as soon as those ports 3 & 4 are taken out of VLAN1 it stops working....
