So if the firmware recovery method cannot be used to downgrade from 1.7.0 and the update function doesn't connect any longer then we will need to manually point to a file via a web browser connection?

It appers there is finally an update on the Australian TP-Link site. Whether it fixes the reservation issue remains to be seen. Clicking 'Check for Upgrades' within the router settings didn't report...

Thought I'd check in just before the new year to see if there was any progress on this. We are all still waiting.

@Kevin_Z I know that it is V3, my issue is the address reservation bug. It have been some time since your comment stating a fix is coming, I would like to know when?

@Kevin_Z It was V3, but the Australian website listed a newer firmware compatible with both V2 & V3 and since loading that it now shows as V2...
