@October31 how old were your devices? I purchased the router in October and the RE a month later. I think I'll go with a triple-pack tri-band mesh network next, although they are a bit pricey.

@October31 Ah great news, I'll call them this weekend and try my luck, but I need to work out what device I'll switch to as I'll be reliant on wireless backhaul, so a tri-band device is a must....

I'm tempted to return both of my AXE5400 and RE815XE devices as it's annoying that the TP-Link hasn't enabled EasyMesh on the RE815XE; however, looking at other devices, I can't get anything...

@Kevin_Z I see, that makes sense, that the software optimises the devices, but it would be great to have the option. Hopefully, this can be implemented.
