@emaniac11 So a firmware update came up for my camera 17 hours after posting about the problem. Hope the update sorts everything out.

Okay, so I don't know the firmware version and the hardware version. It does have the latest firmware though. Our TC40 motion detection is turned on, so naturally, it follows movement when detected....
