Thanks, Solla I wasn't aware of the fact that alarms have to be triggered by motion detection, I thought that button triggered it manually. Things are working as expected now. Thanks.

Before the firmware update: clicking the Alarm button would make the camera produce serin sound and flash light After the firmware update: it does nothing
