Try updating the firmware. There is a newer firmware available on the US page for the 8030, they haven't kept the UK page up to date.You may find that each of your plugs has a different fw version...

Just updated mine - no ill effects so far. Just remember you have to connect to each of the plugs to update the firmware, the app only seems to give the firmware of the local device you're connected...

Had a quick chat with the tp link support chat and eventually was told the firmware 'should be universal' so it should be ok to flash v150423 from the US site. Not sure when i'll get a chance to try...
