I got burned before, you never buy V1 tplink products. Bought V1 eap225 and eap245, i think it only received a few updates and it wasn't even a year old, tplink releases new versons of the same...

How come 5.0.7 isn't released yet? Seems like this maybe the last firmware for the 225/245.

I have a Lenovo laptop and for some reason it refuses to connect to any of my EAPs, I keep getting WPA Authentication times out/failed. On the odd time it does connect the pings are extremely high...

5.0.7 has the same problem, on 5.0.9 i started to see drops in 2.4ghz as well.

@Virgo what firmware are you using? When checking the stats in Omada going back to May 2022, the 225s have always had packet drops. May is also around the time 5.0.8 was released as well.

@Virgo I dont want to set the channel width, I only want to set the channel but still be able to use 40/80MHz channel width for clients that are able to use the higher bandwidth. Since Omada does not...
