In my case it never went to max speed. First test is half of the speed Reboots doesnt matter but yes i have noticed the speed keeps changing on router though from ISP its stable

i tested all available firmware and following are the results TL-WR1043ND_V1_130325 = 9.50 Mbps TL-WR1043ND_v1_130428 = 9.52 Mbps TL-WR1043ND_V1_140319 = 9.55 Mbps Direct Cable X TP Link = 19.5 Mbps

i will try it with the oldest one available and will update Its not could be a nice testing of the TP Product as well may be its the same problem in other models as well thanks

is it recommended to install an older firmware over latest one ?

no its an NEC PTP router. The huge Round PTP antenna gets wireless signals direct from the tower But the problem is why a direct cable from their router shows 20MB and TP Link gives me only 9MB :(

i have 1Gb/s from router Cat6 Cable Same cable when connected to PC shows 20MB speed via speed test Same cable when comes via TP Link it shows 9MB speed via speed test
