Model : TL-WR1043ND

Hardware Version : V2

Firmware Version : Firmware Version: 3.19.32 Build 150717 Rel.53114n

ISP : RDS Romania

They used to work together untill a few days ago when I noticed that :

If at the end of a cable coming out of TL-WR1043ND I put:
- my laptop : I get 300 MBps+ .
- a brand new
TL-SF1005D - 100Mpbs switch , then a good cable , then the laptop the speed on laptop is 10-20Mbps (should be 90-100 Mbps)
- an TL-WA701ND - 150Mbps access point I get 6 Mbps Wifi
- a TL-WR801 -100Mbps router I get 6 Mbps on wi-fi , 22Mbps on cable
- another laptop, with 100 Mbps network card I get 0-15Mbs.

It's like all of a sudden TL-WR1043ND doesn't want to work with 100 Mbps devices anymore.
Going to buy a 1Gbps switch but I would prefer if I could just fix the 100Mbps one and get at least 50-70Mbps.
All routers are reseted to factory settings and the correct/last firmware applied.

Thanks

P.S. I was asked on another forum if cables are ok. YES , all cables are tested and can achieve Gigabit speeds when connected directly to router.

P.S2 Would downgrading firmware help ? Will it brick my router ?

Connect a PC with gigabit port to LAN port of WR1043ND and check the connection speed, like the thread here.

@Mavis - I already did that . See my post above.
It's 99.9% a router firmware problem :(
I just need to know if it will get "bricked" (ununsable) if I downgrade the firmware.

Update: I just downgraded the firmware (tried both 2013 and 2014 versions ), the speed did improve a little but not too much.

I was right , all of a sudden , the router doesn't want to work with 100Mbps devices anymore

I bought a 1Gbps switch and it works like a charm.
Computers with 100Mbps network cards still get 6-22Mbps.

TP-Link should definitely look into this :(

The link speed between the router and PC is 1000Mbps after downgrade?

no, the downgrade didn't fix much , maybe a few Mbps.

I fixed the problem by buying a 1000Mbps switch.
For some strange reason the router simply gives to all 100Mbps devices only 6-22 Mbps.
Anyway it's fixed now . I will just sell the 100Mbps switch and change the network cards to 1000Mbps in all computers .
I am still curious what caused this behaviour though :D .
