Region : Canada

Model : TD-W8961ND

Hardware Version : V3

Firmware Version : Latest

ISP : Primus

I am changing my old TP-Link router to a new TD-W8961ND and need to change the IP address to something other than 192.168.1.1.

The interface does not resemble the FAQ ID: 102 instruction and I cannot save/reboot a new router IP address.

Does anyone know how to do this?

I am running the latest firmware version.

Thanks

Did you login http://192.168.1.1?
Go to Interface Setup---LAN and you can change the IP address.

I'm also having this issue. Even after changing router-s IP to 192.168.2.1, and clicked save, there's nothing happen. Even after rebooting wifi router, I'm still accessing to 192.168.1.1

After you change the IP address to 192.168.2.1 .click on save and reboot, is there any error message?
Will a manually restart the modem work?

only when I disabled DHCP, then I'm able to change my router to 192.168.2.1, but DHCP cannot be changed to enable afterwards. So I'm stuck at static IP even for wifi.

Is your router also TD-W8961ND V3?
You can check whether the IP address is saved before you reboot the router by going to another option then go back.
If the IP address is back to 192.168.1.1, which means it is not saved. You may press the save button again.
