Connect your root router with cable to the internet port of C6 router, then connect via Wi-Fi to the C6 router and change its operational mode to Access point as woozle has suggested - see this manual. C6 router will reboot. Connect again via Wi-Fi to C6 router and disable the DHCP server if it's not, change its LAN IP address to 192.168.1.254 (for example) - same network as the root router. This may reboot the C6 router again. Upon reboot you should be fine accessing it via Wi-Fi or cable and it will extend your wireless network.

If that scenario doesn't suit you then you can try extending your root router Wi-Fi coverage by enabling WDS bridging on 2.4GHz network. In that scenario you don't have to connect your routers by cables. Connect to C6 via Wi-Fi and go to System tools -> System parameters. Enable WDS Bridging for 2.4GHz network. Disable the DHCP server if it's not, change its LAN IP address to 192.168.1.254 (for example) - see this manual as a reference.

@Mala116

Do you mean you can't change the LAN IP address to a very specific one or you can't change it to any other IP address at all?

Anyway, the WAN IP address and the LAN IP address cannot be in the same subnet. That's just the way it is.

If you want the LAN IP address of your C6 to be in the subnet that is currently used by the network to which your WAN port is connected to, then you would first have to change that subnet to something else.

@Mala116

The purpose is to extend the wifi of my root router

My ISP router address is 192.168.1.1 and SSID is SFR_E19F

MY C6 ROUTER IS 192.168.0.1 AND SSID is TP-LINK_859

Routers are RJ45 wire linked, my computer is wire linked to the root router.

Also, the only way to access to the TP LINK is router is via TP-Link wifi

@Mala116

If you want both routers to be in the same subnet and don't need any of the special router functions of your C6, then you could switch the C6 to "Access Point" mode and check if that works better for you.
