TP-Link TL-WA901ND Needs constant reset in bridge (universal repeater mode)

I purchased this wireless access point, I've been using it as a universal repeater. I keep losing internet with this every few hours, and the device requires a reset. My internet connection says "limited connectivity".
Is this a recurring problem with this unit? Will this unit have the same problem if I run it as an access point instead (will require some holes to be drilled for ethernet)?
The store I purchased this from only allows returns for 3 days after purchase, and tomorrow is the 3rd day. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
