Firmware Version: 1.4.0 0.8.0 v00a0.0 Build 201118 Rel.63421n

After moving within the city, I got 3 more numbers from my provider additionally to my 4 numbers. I used one analog telephone with cable and a DECT phone, both worked well until some months ago with 3 registered numbers. The DECT crashed and so I have only the one with cable which still worked until 10 days ago. But suddenly it only rang once and then it was dead. If someone calls my number, he only hears the buisy signal. The system protocol showed an error one day later for 2 other of my 7 numbers that these couldn't be registered: "VOIP  -   Information    account[...] registration error"

So I deleted those 2 numbers, because I don't use them since about one year. I got some information from the TP-Link-Support via e-Mail, but the problem is not solved.

I set DECT inactive and activated NAT with ALG-SIP hoping this would work. The errors disappeared. Internet and WLAN are still working well. The callbox ist still activated, but doesn't work any longer. I can see the numbers of incoming calls and some of these are recognized from the phone book of the router. Since yesterday the phone LED is off, and I don't know why. I tried both connections phone 1 and phone 2 and another analog phone, but unsuccessfully.

Now I don't know what to do.

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Here are the possible reasons and suggestions for your reference:

1. Abnormal DECT base station status
The phone LED is off indicating that the DECT base station may not be working properly. It is recommended to try restarting the router and check that the DECT feature has been activated correctly. If the problem persists, it may be necessary to reset the telephony module configuration.

2. Problems with SIP registration or ALG settings
The error disappears after you enable NAT and SIP ALG, but the phone still does not work. We recommend checking whether the SIP account configuration is correct (e.g., username, password, server address) and trying to temporarily disable SIP ALG to see if call functionality is restored!

3. Number quantity or configuration conflict
TD-W9960v supports up to 6 DECT numbers + 1 analog phone. If the total number of numbers you are currently registering exceeds the limit (e.g. 7 numbers after adding 3 new numbers), it may result in system abnormality. It is recommended to remove some numbers temporarily for testing.

4. Call Forwarding/Do Not Disturb Mode Mistakenly Enabled
It is pointed out that if the phone only rings once and then disconnects, it may be related to “Call Forwarding” or “Do Not Disturb Mode”. Please check whether the related settings are enabled by mistake through the router web interface or phonebook.

5. Hardware Troubleshooting
Try to connect the analog phone to different FXS ports (e.g. Phone 1 and Phone 2) and change the phone line for testing. If all ports do not respond, it may be the hardware failure of the router's phone module, you need to contact retailer or local support to confirm warranty.

Best regards.
