Model: Archer VX1800v
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.13.0 2.0.0 v6092.0 Build 240925 Rel.11089n

When I open a YouTube video on my TV over Wi-Fi, the video closes immediately after buffering. When I set the DNS to Google DNS, it asks for a 'Captcha' code, but I can't solve it on the TV.

There is no issue when I try another modem. I'm constantly having problems with this modem. The return period has passed, and I'm tired of dealing with these TP-Link issues.

Does anyone have a solution?

Hi, welcome to our community.

You may follow the troubleshooting steps below:

1. Disable Band Steering and set 2.4GHz and 5GHz as different wireless names. Then connect your TV to the two band separately to check.

2. You may adjust the channel of 2.4GHz to 1, 6 or 11 for a try.

3. Create Guest network and connect your TV to confirm.

4. Connect your TV to the modem router via Ethernet cable if possible.

If the suggestions above do not help, please share the brand and model of your TV.

If other client devices can connect the Archer VX1800v properly, it is also suggested to contact the TV support for some advice.

Thank you and best regards.
