Phenomenon Description.

Possible Solutions:
The root cause still requires further confirmation at this time. We will keep the community updated once there is any improvement.
In the meantime, our engineer has provided a bridge firmware that allows for a downgrade from version 1.8.0 to the official version 1.6.4 without a factory reset so the original network configurations will not be messed up.

@SamKan_9 Very interesting - I am not impressed with speed either ... I hope a debugged 1.8 official firmware will come soon. This is not acceptable.

Hi, It's hard to say yet. The issue on the previous 1.8.0 seems to be caused by bringing in the VPN module.
Thanks and best regards.

@David-TP I was experiencing the same problem. I had an M9 Plus acting as the router connected to an ONT box bringing in 1G up and down. I also had a separate M9 Plus in another part of the house. I've reverted back to the ISP supplied router before I came across this post.
While I wait for a fixed firmware to become available if there's anything I can do to help then let me know. My 2 M9Plus units are part of a 3 pack I bought. I've never used the 3rd unit and it's never been out of the box so if there's any testing needed let me know.
I thought about trying to get some packet captures together and having a nose around the pcaps with ChatGPT but I'm not sure what I'd do there.
Do we know if the devs know what's causing the issue or are they still working the problem?
Anyway the offer is there, if there's anything I can do to help let me know.

I am trying to upgrade my firmware via the beta file you sent me. But I am not allowed to choose the device model ... so no upgrade...?
