Hi, I have an Archer AX55 router which is set to AP mode set up in my living room and I'm trying to connect it to my RE700X extender in my bedroom via Easymesh.

 

The instructions say there should be an Easymesh option in my router's settings tab but I don't see it.

 

My AX55 is updated to the latest firmware.

Hi, with the latest update for your router v1 (Archer AX55(EU)_V1_1.3.3 Build 20240628) region specific it does support easy mesh in AP mode and the option should be listed in the Advanced tab > EasyMesh (lefthand side near the bottom) if your login in from a PC browser mobile format might be viewed slightly different.

Hi  @ivanlau1000,

Please tell me what is firmware version of your router now?  In addition, is it JP version or EU version?

 

This is the device model that already supports the establishment of easymesh network in AP mode. You need to confirm whether your device is in the list:
 EasyMesh Is Available When Wi-Fi Routers Work in AP Mode as A Controller

Note: Firmware versions in different regions are usually not shared.
