Hi @Avijit_Charming,
Client devices' IP addresses are usually dynamically assigned by the Router.
If you want to assign a fixed IP address for a specific client, you may reserve a specific IP address for this specific client.
Please refer to this FAQ: How to configure Address Reservation on TP-Link wireless router
If a client device is still unable to obtain the reserved IP address, ensure that the device's private MAC address or random MAC address feature is disabled.

Our Client has connected the TP Link router TL-WR802N to the Feig Reader using client mode for the router. They have encountered an issue. Could you please guide me?
"We have encountered an issue with the reserved IP addresses for the devices. During our testing, we found the following problems:
- The Feig reader and TP-link devices have the same MAC addresses. The MAC address shown for the Feig Reader is the same Tp-link.
- Upon Further investigation, the MAC addresses provided by Tp-link devices are incorrect and do not match the device MAC address. Please compare the MAC address in image below with above images.
- To verify if it is the Tp-link devices, we setup a private network with Tp-link and connected another Tp-link device as Client and Reader to the Tp-link device. It is found that the Tp-link receives correct MAC address from the FEIG reader, but when we check the information on network, it shows the MAC address of Tp-link and that to incorrect.
As we won’t be able to reserve the IP addresses on the network due to the incorrect MAC addresses. Could you also please explain why the TP-Link devices are behaving this way and providing incorrect information? Are there any alternative options?"
