Hi all,

So I have just installed an M4 system in the household, the basic routing goes as follows

Router >> Main Deco Unit >> Switch >> Brother PC (Getting Full Speed)

>> 2nd Deco Unit via Satellite >> 3rd Deco Unit via Satellite >> My PC + GF PC (Getting 10% of expected Ethernet speed)

My only guess as to why this could be happening is due to the router, main unit and brother's ecosystem being on a seperate fuse layout to the 2nd and 3rd deco unit, which I obviously connecy my ecosystem to. I have tried all TP-link recommended solutions, from firmware, to QOS (on and off, capped and uncapped) and nothing seems to work.

The Wifi drop off is also pretty horrendous considering the distance between the furthest two is not actually that great, but I'm really not concerned about this, my main issue is the wired speeds.

Any help from the community?

Thanks

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

Sorry that I am a little confused about your network topology.

Is your 2nd Deco connected to main Deco or the switch via Ethernet cable? Is your 3rd Deco connected to 2nd Deco via Ethernet cable?

For the slow speed problem, it is suggested to follow this guide: Troubleshooting Slow Internet Speed with Deco Devices

For your reference: General questions about Ethernet Backhaul feature on your Deco

Please share exact details if you need further suggestions, thank you.
