Hello,

I am struggling to find a way to have the best connection using 3 Archer AX53 routers.

I have 2 of V1 and 1 V2. The main router is downstairs and the other 2 upstairs, in two different bedrooms, which are used as mesh routers (in onemesh system). One of them is right above the main router and has strong connnection but the other one is in another bedroom and i have only medium connection with it. The problem is that i have some lag when playing on PS Portal for example, because of the relatively low connection to this router (the one with medium connection). When i am in the other bedroom with the one with strong connection i have no problem.

Do you any recomandations on how should i put those routeres so i can have strong connection on both? For example is there a way to connect the second mesh router to the first mesh router and not at the main router? Both of them are on the floor.

Thank you!

The only way to increase the strength of the connection between two wireless EasyMesh nodes is to decrease the distance between them.
So, unless you need the AX53 located inside the bedroom for connecting devices via Ethernet cable, you could consider placing that AX53 one wall closer to the main AX53 that is located downstairs.

The Archer AX53 does not support this. At present, only the Archer AX55 V1 allows manual configuration of how the EasyMesh routers interconnect.

Is there no way you can cable the connection between your router and your access points?

Unfortunately I can’t move the main router from its position as it is positioned so it can be connected to the cable that comes from my internet provider.
