Hello,

I have one x50 standard and one x50 Poe satellite. 2 satellites.

The standard is the principal satellite.

The system is configured in router mode.

My house has rj45 wall sockets. All the ethernet cables are connected to a switch, the box of my isp. So no direct link between the x50's.

I have connected the 2 satellites on the wall sockets.

It works, but on the tplink app, the x50 Poe appears to communicate with the main satellite with wifi. Is it expected?

Can it be linked to the switch that i use? (Box of my isp)

Can it be linked to the Poe injector that i use between the x50 Poe and the switch?

Anything else?

Thanks!

When Satellite Deco uses Ethernet backhaul, it'll report it as Ethernet. Example:

Your Satellite Deco does not use Ethernet for backhaul, if it keeps reporting WiFi.

  @Alexandre. Hello,

Thanks for reply.

After searching, the problem was the router mode. Indeed, the main satellite was not before the switch but connected to, like other satellite.

Swiching to AP mode solved the issue.
