Archer GE800 various problems
Hello, I am reporting some problems encountered in using GE800 and I wanted to ask you if there is a possibility that they will be solved in the future.
1) Data trasmission in wireless mode: I connected two computers with wifi 7 network cards to the GE800, one with Intel BE200 and the other with Qualcomm QCNCM865, and I find the transmission speed very low and wery fluctuating, This occurs bith the individual 5 and 6 GHz bands and in MLO mode.
2) The client list shows incorrect speeds on devices connected in MLO mode.
3) Very high bufferbloat even when QoS is enabled
4) My ISP gives me an IPv6 address in /48 mode usin the same PPPoE session as IPv4, but the router always reports it as /64. Is it a limitation of the router?
Thanks
Valerio

I report two other problems detected while using IPv6:
- I can't access the Roon server (Linux system installed on Intel NUC) remotely (using the Roon ARC app created specifically for remote access);
- some apps on the Samsung QE32W50AEU TV are slow in operation or do not work mat all ( Prime Video for example).
The two problems do not occur when using only IPv4.

Thank you for reporting issues in the community.
1. Aside from the two Wi-Fi 7 adapters (Intel BE200 and Qualcomm QCNCM865), do you have any phones that support Wi-Fi and test the connectivity with the GE800?
2. The Tx/Rx Rate of the clients will be optimized in future updates.
3. Was this result also tested on the computers with Intel BE200 or Qualcomm QCNCM865? Please make sure you're installing the latest driver for the adapters.
4/5/6. For the IPv6 issues, I'm afraid they need to be analyzed further.
I would like to escalate the case to our support engineers and they will follow it up via email.

1- Yes I have other wifi devices, phones, smart tvs etc. But form the phone (iphone 15 pro ma) I can't transfer files from a server and my internet connection is 200 mbit;
2- Thanks
3- THis test was done with computers with wifi 7 cards. The results are the same as those done from iphone. The drivers are the latest.
4- Ok

Thank you very much.
Could you please let me know your Internet provider and the bandwidth you are subscribed to?
When connecting the Intel BE200 to the 6G or 5G network, what is the link speed, and how does it fluctuate? Could you please share some testing results?

My internet subscription is a VDSL2 connection with speed 200/20 mbit, effective 190/20 mbit.
I did some tests using the 5 GHz band, the 6 GHz and MLO wireless connection.
For each of these I also did the test with QoS enabled and disabled (spoiler: bufferbloat is better with QoS off). Qos is set to 170/18 mbit.
The network card is an Intel BE200 with the latest driver (23.100.0.4)
- Let's start with 5 GHz band with QoS
- 5 Ghz without Qos
- 6 GHz with Qos
- 6GHz without QoS
- MLO is a disaster, often the speed slows down to below 100 mbit in download
- MLO with Qos
- MLO without QoS
