Model: Archer C1200
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

The router is connected correctly. Al Wifi is enabled. Ethernet and the Guest Wi-Fi have internet, but the regular Wi-Fi, (2.6G and 5G) don't.
Can this be caused by a wrong setting (I cannot see any), or is it a hardware defect?
I have rebooted the router, but nothing changed. What else can I try?

A quick update. I just found out that the regular WiFi Channels do have internet connection. The problem was not that the router did no work but that due to my network configuration with a primary and a secondary router, devices with DHCP connected to the secondary router (the one in question, subnet 1) could also arbitrarily connect to the primary router (subnet 0). If their own subnet does not match the router they connect to, they cannot connect to the internet. As an example, if I connect to the Wifi of the secondary router (subnet 1) and the device connects to the primary router due to its DHCP setting, then it cannot connect to the internet. If I set the device to a static IP number from the secondary router's range, then it connects without a problem. The solution is that I need to set up rules that prevent devices connected to the secondary router to "see" the primary router.

Thank you again for your help. The problem was a conflict of subnet ranges. The router ER605, which unites the two ISPs and connects to the WAN of the C1200, had the gateway 192.168.0.1. As the apartment routers connected to the C1200 each create their own local WiFi network also with 192.168.0.x addresses, this caused instability. I changed the subnet of the ER605 from 0 (zero) to 50, and the problem was resolved.

If you have a wireless radio issue, most probably your guest Wi-Fi wouldn't work as well.

Have you tried to change your C1200 main wirelss settings (details) and test again.

Thank you. I have watched the video. It shows how to enable WiFi and create a WiFi password. All this is set correctly. Wifi is enabled for both bands. The Wifi signal is present, but it does not carry internet. I understand that a WiFi router may have a radio signal but no internet when the IP settings for the source (modem or other router) are not correct. But for what I know, these settings are not different for the guest WiFi, so for logic, either both can connect or neither can. This is the crux.

What's yoiur C1200 current firmware version and region ? (details on the bottom sticker).

Check if any of these features are configured Advanced > Wireless > MAC Filtering or Advanced > Security > Access Control and disable them.

If that's not the case you should probably reset your router to its factory settings and re-configure from scratch or contact your local support for assistance.

The Firmware is 3.0.8 Build 20211219 Rel. 66975 (US), the latest. I am in Panama, (LatAm) but the device is a US version (Archer C1200 v3.0). There is no filtering of any kind. In Security, Access Control is OFF. It is my understanding that any of the settings below (Blacklist/Whitelist) are thus disabled. Anyway, no device is on the blacklist- Thank you very much. I will try to reset it to factory settings.

Re:Archer 1200 V3 Guest Wifi has internet but regular Wifi is without internet

@terziyski, as I mentioned in my last post, I know now what I should do: set up rules for this router that prevent devices connected to it from having access to the secondary router (ER605, the one between the modem and the primary router).
What I don't know is HOW to do it.

Can you help?

To explain the setup:

I have two modems from 2 different IPs. They are connected to two WAN ports of a TP-Link ER605 (Gateway 192.168.0.1).
One of the ER 605's LAN ports is connected to the WAN port of the TP-Link C1200 (Gateway 192.168.1.1), which provides a WiFi connection for our private use (regular and guest WiFi). My main PC is also connected to one of the C1200's LAN ports via an Ethernet cable.

Another LAN port is connected to an 8-port POE switch that connects to several POE access points in our small hotel. These APs are set to have a static IP so they can be identified in the network.

There, we have had similar problems to the one I described initially, i.e. some of the access points allow us to connect to their WiFi but there is no internet connection.

It is now clear to me that this problem has the same cause as my initial WiFi problem at the C1200, i.e. conflict of subnets, because these APs can connect to either the primary or the secondary router.

I suppose that I need to modify something in NAT Forwarding, but what?

The ALG settings are all enabled.

No Virtual servers, Port Triggering, or DMZ are defined.

I appreciate your input.

I can't see any problem with your network setup from what you've described.

The hotel APs are physically connected to your ER605, while C1200 provides a different subnet for your private use.

Thus your hotel guests won\t be able to access your C1200 private subnet.

If you want C1200 on the ER605 subnet and have only ER605 DHCP server active, you can set C1200 in AP mode (Case 1).

This way all wireless/wired clients will be in the same (ER605) subnet - it depends what your preferences are.

In either case you can delete/forget the wireless SSIDs (it's better to use different SSIDs) to which you don't want your devices to connect.

Regarding your initial issue I think you should double check your ER605 configuration.
