Hello,

I'm having some issues with my router. A little background on my issue. I am currently using Starlink at our main residence. I have a tp link omada eap 211 main AP connected via cat 6 to the router, pointing the signal down to our guest house (about 200 ft away). I have the client AP attached to the side of the guest house and we have a great signal. I have a cat 6 cable running from the client AP directly into the Archer AX1500. I can connect everything to this and get great and consistent speeds (200MB/s+). I have my phone connected, computer connects fine (my son works from home and is on video calls all day), ipads, Amazon Alexa, etc. No issues with any of them and it's been great.

But for whatever reason, I can't get a connection to the TV. I bought a Roku Smart TV which would show the WiFi name and let me log in, and it would say there was a connection to the router, but no internet. I figured it was something with the TV and I wasn't a big fan of the Roku interface anyway so I went out and bought a brand new Fire Stick. I plug that in, get it connected to the router, and same issue, no internet connection.

I guess my question is, do I have the clients set up correctly? I would imagine so since I can get internet fine on everything else.

Also, side note, every time I try and set up the router via the Tether app, it says I'm not connected to a device. Very strange. In the tether app, it says I need to connect to a modem. No idea what that is if anyone can help explain if that's necessary and then point me in the right direction to get one?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am not well-versed in this stuff. I can get around alright but anything more technical than a router goes way beyond my comprehension.

 Hi @Toastedt

If only one or some of your devices like your PC/Phone can access the internet, but other devices like TV/Printer can't connect to the internet, please try the below:

1. Please connect the Ethernet cable from your modem or internet service provider to the Router's WAN port.

2. Check if the router has configured a parental control profile and remove the device from the profile.

3. For wired devices:

1) Connect the device to other LAN ports instead of the IPTV port you configured//set up earlier on the router.

2) Change the Ethernet cable.

3) Switch to another LAN port on the router or the device.

3. For wireless devices:

1) Enable the guest network and connect the device to the guest network.

2) Enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on a phone and connect the device to the hotspot WI-FI. Please reach out the device support if this doesn't work.

4. Change the DNS server: How to Change the DNS Servers on a TP-Link Wireless Router (New UI)

5. Reset the device to factory default settings.
