Model: Deco X50-Outdoor
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.6

I'm using my deco x50 outdoor in the garden and it's mounted in a high Position about 2.5m above the groud. It connecs to the deco x50 network over WIFI.  The network is working fine.

I that mounting position it's exposed to direct sunlight and rain. As far as I remember the manual sais something like "Don't expose to direct sunlight  or rain"

I thought about mounting a little rounded sunsade above the x50 outdoor, but couldn't find anything suitable.

Does anyone have an idea or an advice what shade to use?

Kind regards

Hi, Thank you very much for the feedback.

The enclosure of Deco X50-outdoor would be water-proof (IP65 dust & water resistance). Usually, there is no need to add an extra sunshade.

I saw there are some mini-Weather Covers for Bird Feeders. Maybe you could consider adding one of them, such as:

Best regards.

  @RishiDS

Hi, Yes, the metal cover would block some wireless signals.
