Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.0 Build 20240323 rel.70541(5553)

My old router had the option to specify local domain like (.home or .lan or .local) so that I could connect to devices using their name.

I could check whether my laptop is ON by just pinging like ping laptop.home

How to do that in TP-Link?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

TP-Link WiFi router does not support local DNS name resolution.

If your devices support mDNS, you may use the device hostname such as test.local to visit the device.
