Model: Archer AX73
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.1 Build 20220121 rel.75144(4555)

Good Evening,

I just bought the AX73 and i'm very happy with it but there's something that is killing me!

I dont seem to be able to set a local dns server inside my network, if i put any other address there it says there's an ip conflict and it just resets itself.

So i was thinking well no problem i will route it, but guess what, even creating an static route needs to be done within an IP that is outside of your network otherwise it also doesnt work, so that means i cant use my local dns server anymore with your router, that's absurd!

You have to fix it immediately otherwise this router will be useless, how can such expensive router have such a fail on the software side?

I also miss having SQM and Vlan properties to assign on the router configs.

Will you ever fix it? Thanks in advance.

Hello @Retrogamer2022,

You can configure this local DNS server under Network > DHCP Server:

It's currently not allowed to set a DNS server within the local network in the Internet settings, but the developers have been made aware of this request and they will consider improving it in the future.
