Model: Archer VR600

Hardware Version: V2

Firmware Version: 0.4.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 200701 Beta.71362n

I have just carried out a factory reset because I have forgotten my login password. I can now login using the default login password. I want to restore all my old settings so I load in a .bin file containing all the settings that I saved before the factory reset. This unfortunately seems to change the login password to the old ( forgotten ) password!! Is there any way to restore settings but keep the new login password?

Hi, thanks for posting question here.

I am afraid that I can not think of better solution for you.

If forgetting the login password, you have to take factory reset the device and reconfigure it.
