  @Kevin_Z Hi is this something new? Currently i have 2 Archer C6 router,Let me explain how i set it up first,Both routers reset and updated to latest firmware and then i connected Router A to the ISP Modem and configured it by the PPPoE username and password provided by ISP and didn't change any other settings in router web page,after that i connected Router B to Router A via easymesh and then connected a Ethernet cable from router A LAN port to router B WAN port,it shows as Ethernet back-haul connected,is this configuration ok? or is there something i need to change? please do let me know your response is highly appreciated

If the Ethernet Backhaul has been established successfully, it means you're connecting them correctly.

We generally suggest connecting the LAN port of the satellite router to the LAN port of the main when adding a new router to EasyMesh, and then you can choose to use the LAN port or the WAN port as the backhaul port:

Is there a plan that AX73 / AX5400 will also support EasyMesh in AP Mode. I have a router from my internet provider, AX73 is connected via LAN to this router, also other clients e.g. desktop computer, printer etc is connected to the router. Installing AX73 in AP mode does not offer EasyMesh currently but setting up AX73 in router mode opens a new network so that it is not possible to print from iPhone connected to AX73 to printer connected with (main) router. Option would be if there is another possibility of the network while still having EasyMesh capability.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

You can setup the AX73 as an access point while in router mode by doing it the old-fashoined way (i.e. back when there was no dedicated access point mode on routers). This method does have a few drawbacks (a few things don't work, for example time sync and online update), but at least you would be able to use EasyMesh.

Leave the AX73 in "Router Mode" and follow "Case 2" of this guide.

Thank, I tried to set it up. But do I have to connect AX73 via WAN or LAN port to the grid for this setup?

  @Kevin_Z

I have not received a return email since then.

Where can I see the status of my ticket, the number of which I received in the message?
