Model: Archer AX72 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I am able to see only 2 modes in Operation mode setting of this router. I required an RE - Range Extender mode to convert this router as Range extender.

Can someone please help me out, regarding what can be done ?

Hi,

The only way to use the Archer AX72 Pro as a wireless extender of a wireless network is as part of an EasyMesh setup.

What I mean is, if your main router supported Easymesh, then the Archer AX72 Pro could be added as an EasyMesh node to extend the network.

Hi,

does the The AX72 pro not have Access Point Mode?

I have 3xAx72 routers and 2x of them are in AP mode basically acting as wifi range extenders.

Thank you for the reply ; Actually AP mode I am not familiar with, As earlier routers I used directly had option to go to Range extender mode. This is my first experience with TP link. My requirement is to converted it as Range extender without pulgging LAN input. It must catch main router signal wirelessly and transmit it wirelessly to other devices.

Hi, I am afraid this router can not meet your needs, if you want to connect it to your main router via wireless way..

As   @woozle says, Easymesh could be a possible way.
