Adding Extra Ethernet Item to Deco X60 (Maybe Switch?)
Hi All,
I have 3 Deco X60s (with a Virgin Media hub in Modem Mode)
Router > Deco 1
Deco 2 is connected via Wi-Fi
Deco 3 is connected via Ethernet Backhaul (to Deco 1)
Deco 1 has both ethernet ports used... 1 from Router and 1 to Deco 3
I need to add Eufy Homebase to the Deco 1 (I cannot put either on Deco 2 or 3 because of locations)
Can I connect a switch to Deco 1 and:
* Plug in Modem (Top Ethernet Port on the Deco 1)
* Plug in Switch (Bottom Port on the Deco 1) to Eufy Homebase & Deco 3 (and retain Ethernet Backhaul)
Thank you in advance for guidance and help on this :)

You can do that.
The switch must support Deco Ethernet backhaul protocol. If you are buying new switch, get unmanaged 5-port gigabit switch from TP-Link brand. If you already have switch, just try it: if after connecting Deco 3 through the switch it stays on Ethernet backhaul and does not switch to WiFi backhaul, it means switch is compatible.

I dont know much about switches...
I found these 2 would either/both work and could you say the difference (one is much nicer to look at!)
TL-SG105S
TL-SG1005D
Please let me know :)
Thank you in advance
I checked their specs, both should be compatible with Deco mesh.
At my house I am using TL-SG1005D switch and can guarantee its compatibility.
