AV1000 tl-wpa7617 keeps disconnecting

I used to have an av600 powerline and it had no issues. I've upgraded to the av1000 but now it randomly disconnects from the internet until I reset the power. It seems like a power saving issue but I have no option to turn it off on the pc tpPLC program.
