Hello,

As you know, ax90 is tri band router and re700x two band extender.

If i use RE700x with my AX90, I cant connect third band on my ax90. Is it normal ? Must i buy tri band mesh ?

I believe that's normal.

AX90 supports these wireless standards:

A tri-band RE like RE815XE supports:

So, even you buy a tri-band RE it won't extend the second 5Ghz band of AX90:

This could be due to the way AX90 bands are separated into a different wireless channels - check this post.

Well, that's probably because when in mesh this band is used as a wireless backhaul for the mesh.
