OneMesh via Ethernet cable for Archer AX80 and RE705X
Hi, I'm currently extending the network of my main router Archer AX80 with RE705X using OneMesh via WiFi.
- Is it possible to use wired ethernet instead of WiFi to extend my network using OneMesh?
- If not, will this feature be supported by both models in the future?
- Are there any other way to extend my network using wired ethernet with these 2 models?

OneMesh doesn't support an ethernet backhaul - check this FAQ (Q5/A5).
You can extend your network with an ethernet cable if you set RE705X in AP mode (without mesh).

Thanks for response.
If I configure the RE705X in AP mode. Can it inherit the same WiFi settings (SSID & password) from the main AX80 router? Basically I'd like to make it seamless to the connecting devices that there's only one WiFi to connect to regardless of which hardware they get connected to.
Do I need to set this up manually or does the extender get configured automatically with information from the main router?

When RE705X is in AP mode you should do this manually, because in this case you're creating a new SSIDs with the same name as in your router.
When RE705X is in RE mode the RE just repeats the SSIDs from your router.
