Model: RE900XD
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

Hi. I would like to connect the RE900XD AX6000 Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Range Extender to my AX6000 Dual-Band Gigabit Wi-Fi 6 Router using an Ethernet cable to don't lose performance of the range extender.

Is that possible to do that using the OneMesh Technology?

I would like to avoid using the range extender as a different access point, I would like to use the range extender as the same wi-fi of the wi-fi router using OneMesh, and connected via Ethernet cable.

Your RE supports mesh via ethernet backhaul - details.

But to use its ethernet backhaul your main router should support this feature too.

So if your AX6000 doesn't support an ethernet backhaul mesh, the only option is to use the RE in AP mode with the same SSIDs configured on the AX6000.

Here's the list of routers that support an Easymesh ethernet backhaul currently.
