Hi

I have been using TP Link OneMesh between Archer C6 and OneMesh extender for almost two years now. However, with age my router malfunctions at times and I have decided to change it now.

I am planning on buying Mercusys MR50G AC1900 which has EasyMesh function. My TP-Link Extenders has received EasyMesh updates.

Will I be able to create Easy Mesh Wifi Between TP Link and Mercusys?

Thanks

Hi, thank you very much for posting on TP-Link Community.

In theory, Mercusys EasyMesh router and TP-Link EasyMesh extender are able to build EasyMesh Wi-Fi network successfully since they both support the same EasyMesh technology.

Before purchasing the Mercusys MR50G AC1900 and attempting to create a mesh network with your TP-Link extender, I recommend checking the compatibility details on the official websites of both TP-Link and Mercusys. You can also contact their customer support for confirmation and assistance in ensuring that the devices will work together seamlessly.

@Aaksz Since your TP-Link extenders have received EasyMesh updates, you should be able to create an EasyMesh WiFi network between your TP-Link OneMesh extender and the new Mercusys MR50G AC1900 router. This allows for seamless integration and improved performance in extending your WiFi coverage.
