Deco M5 mesh network using access point mode nodes

Hi to alll !!
kindly ask your assistance if i can create a mesh network as per below chart
Note My Modem / router has build in lan ports
Also i am thinking if the below diagram would be the best performance or should i select the above diagram ( If applicable for my purpose )
2nd Note All connection nodes must be in Access Point mode

Hi, welcome to the community.
If both diagrams are applicable, I would vote for diagram#1.
Here is what I think:
The satellite Deco peformance, like internet speed, would not be subject to the main Deco, and if something unexpected broke the connection of the main Deco, the satellite would be directly switched as the main to maintain the connection without adjusting the physical connection. And you would also have one port left on each Deco for other wired connections, like NAS and PlayStation.

Thank you for your reply ! I setup my 3 kit as per diagram #1
Seamlessly process , increased my wifi coverage , internet speed and stable wifi calling
I can also manage my local network from everywhere !
