Deco X60 losing parental control and block settings

A side note that I do not know what the version number is so I selected V1.
During the past couple of months I have been having issues with settings that I put in place for parental controls and or blocking of certain devices suddenly disappearing.
First let me explain. In an effort to control after hours access, I set up my deco to have a limited number of IP addresses. Additionally each device is assigned an IP address through address reservation. This means the device can only connect with the IP address if it matches the MAC address of the device. Through this method I have been able to make the parental controls pretty solid. Kids are unable to bypass that with a different Mac address as a result.
There appears to have been a recent update of the Deco software for my Android device. Since then I've been having random events of it forgetting that I set time limits or have blocked a device. I've had to uninstall and reinstall the software in hopes that it would fix the issue, but it has not. This has resulted in a loss of control in applying consistent parental controls.
What is frustrating is the randomness of this. I could set a control, then come back in 10 minutes later to find that it's gone. Other times I can set the control, go back into it and it does keep the setting but later I could go back into the software and the setting is gone.
I'm wondering if anyone else has experience that this issue of settings that stick around for a while and then suddenly disappear without any attempt to actually remove the setting put in place. It's very frustrating and occasionally the kids benefit from it by being able to stay up late unbeknownst to us. This obviously results in very tired kids the following morning. It's summer so it's not as bad but I would love to have this issue resolved well before the next school year begins. We want to be able to rely upon the settings we made to better control internet access. We shouldn't have to become 24/7 Network specialists in our own household.
I do wish to know that up until a couple months ago, this was not a problem.
