Good afternoon, in order to be able to portforward my virtual machine to use Home Assistant remote I have to choose it from the list of devices, but it doens't show there and it is not possible to fill in the IP adress yourself.

If I check the Ip-adresses in teh wifi-assistant in deco-lab, the VM ip adress does show up.

 

What should I do??

Hi, is the Virtual Machine configured with a static IP address?

If it is a static IP address, please make sure you have input the DNS and gateway as well.

And one community has shared a workaround before. Maybe it will help.

Workaround - Forward port to missing device
