Model: Deco X50
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.8 Build 20220407 Rel. 69134

My problem is identical to that shown in this thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/165716?page=1

But unfortunately I am already on the latest firmware; I have tried everything suggested there, and I still have that issue.

I have:
Three Deco X50, Hardware V1, Firmware 1.0.8 Build 20220407 Rel. 69134
One Deco M9 Plus, Hardware V1, Firmware 1.5.1 Build 20210126 Rel. 62679

and many of my devices have the issue shown in the picture attached:

  @LoZeno

Hi, Welcome to the community.

Except for Deco X50 and Deco M9, is there another other Deco model, like Deco M3W?

If yes, the latest firmware of Deco M3W does not support this feature yet.

If not, maybe you could help me check the following details:

  • Is it only Google Nest Hub that does not display the linked Deco?
  • Could you please help me run a simple test:

1. turn off fast roaming and check whether it helps to locate the linked Deco.

Thank you very much.

Best regards.

  @David-TP
Hello,
The only Deco models I have are the one I listed before, I don't have any Deco M3W.
I have three devices that regularly are can't identify which Deco they are linked with: an LG TV, the Google Nest Hub, and a Samsung A22 smartphone.
Turning off fast roaming seems to make all thrtee locate the linked Deco, but I'd like not having to turn off that feature since doing so causes connection issues with the phone mentioned above when we move from one floor to another of the house
