Hi everyone,

not sure, what is happening.

I have created VPN server. Default values. OpenVPN is connected. However, I cannot access local network (192.168.1.0/24). Did I forget something?

 IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 10.8.1.6
 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.252 (it should setting 255.255.255.0)

Default gateway is empty.

I have created PPTP server. Used Windows client and connected, but again, cannot access local network. This type, default gateway is 0.0.0.0

What I am trying to connect to NAS thru VPN but I have to use VPN server on TP-Link (VPN connection in use on NAS)

Anyone who can direct me to the right article or just tell me what I need to change?

Thanks

Petr

  @ZentecTeam

Did you enable "Internet and Home Network" or "Home Network Only"?

Are you able to ping the LAN IP of NAS on the VPN connection?

And under Advanced>VPN>VPN connection, will you see if any VPN connections have been created successfully?

Wait for your reply.

Best regards.

  @David-TP

Hi David,

thank you for your reply.

Did you enable "Internet and Home Network" or "Home Network Only"?

"Internet and Home Network"

Are you able to ping the LAN IP of NAS on the VPN connection?

only VPN IP address (10.1.0.1) not (192.168.1.x)

And under Advanced>VPN>VPN connection, will you see if any VPN connections have been created successfully?

Yes, connection has been created.

I am normally using Mikrotik. I have to masquerade the networks between but I have no idea, where to do it in TP-Link. Or there should be automatically?

Thanks
