Hello @link13
Please check the country version of adapter, it is (EU) or US version? For 5Ghz Wi-Fi, it is recommend to set WiFi channel on 36/40/44/48.
It is recommend to download Wi-Fi analyzer APP or inSSIDer and scan for the wifi channel of mobile hotspot Wi-Fi and see which channel the Hotspot WiFI channel is currently usaing:
Why cannot the adapter detect the 5G Wi-Fi of my router?
May I know the modol and OS of the mobile phone?

Hello @link13
Channel 11 is the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi channel, you could select 5Ghz Wi-Fi band and see if the channel is on 36/40/44/48.
If not it is possible that Hotspot Wi-Fi does not work on the adapter supported 5Ghz channel, you could consider 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi band when use hotspot.
