Model: Archer MR600
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Version du firmware:1.2.0 0.9.1

Hi,

MR600 has been properly configured ; and a webcam  is connected (ethernet) to the router.

As I have a no-IP account I set a domain name : myMR600.ddns.net.

I  set up the ddns parameters for MR600 . Thinks seem Ok as the message connected shows up and the IP adress which appears as the " last known"  in my no-IP account is the same as the one that MR600 displays.

BUT whenever I try to https://myMR600.ddns.net or when I try to connect to the webcam (fixed IP adress on the local network) I get error messages. Same problem with FTP for the NAS connected to MR600.

Help would be appreciated,

Thks in advance

FG

@FGM

Unfortunately, it has become pretty much the norm for all mobile/cellular network providers to assign private IPv4 addresses to their users.

Depending on where you live there may be one or more providers left that offer public IPv4 addresses, either for additional money or perhaps even free of charge, which would allow you to connect to your MR600 from the Internet.

I guess it's the same issue that many other users have reported previously.

Basically, if you log into your MR600's configuration webpage and the IP address shown in the "Internet" section is different than the IP address shown in your no-IP account, then it won't work.

@FGM

Ok. Have you also verified that your Internet IP address doesn't fall within one of the following pools of private IP addresses? (as it is not possible to directly connect to private IP addresses from the Internet)

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255
100.64.0.0 - 100.127.255.255

@woozle

The IP adress which my ISP gave me was, as of this morning,  "10.235.abc.def"  which is part of the range you listed. I've no idea why it is so ....

Thks
