Port forwarding not working
I have a Archer AC2300 router,Never worked properly since i have had it,had replaced under warranty but new one is just the same.
Port forwarding doesn't work at all.
All correctly entered both manually & by UpNp.
Only way is by Dmz.
what am i missing?
Elderly,disabled & housebound so reall need some help please

Can you explain the problem in more details.
Which ports are you trying to forward, what's the service you're trying to configure ?
How did you set the port-forwarding rules in the device ?

@terziyski None of which do anything, ports still blocked.
Only thing that works is Dmz.

Are you with the latest FW for your device ?
What's the network topology you're using ? Any modem before the C2300 or direct cable to the ISP network ?
Do you receive the public IP address on C2300 WAN interface ?

@terziyski Latest Fw,Virgin hub 4 in modem mode,ethernet to router,ip address is there.
