Archer AX11000 dropping connections Everyday Same time
Afternoon All,
I have had the router for about 1-2 months now and have spoken with Tech support through call and ticketing system. Still has been no help and im on the verge of returning it due to beening dissconnected form meetings on a daily basis. Everyday around 11am-2pm my laptop, work pc, phone will all discconet for 1-2 mins from all wifi the light on the router will change to orange and then everything comes back. Now its started to happen to 4-5 times a day during that time period and has become annoying to the point i cant get my work done.
Support has made me factory rest update, Change channels, change dns servers to google servers, disbale ofdma and smart wifi, none of that has worked. if anyone has a soultion to this i would greatly appericate any help. I want to give this router a chance becuase when it does work its amazing. my house is quite wide so it reaches all corners with amazing speeds. Thanks and i look forward to your reply.
I have also looked on the fourm with ppl who have the same issue and either it was not resolved or they just ended up returning the router.

Does this issue happen regularly around 11 am-2 pm everyday? Who is your ISP? I would suggest connecting a PC directly to the ISP modem via Ethernet bypassing the router and determine if you have a router issue or a modem/ISP issue.
You can also log into your modem, and look at its logs, see if there are any entries for critical 3 or critical 4 errors. Those errors will give a user disconnects in internet, but they tend to be random throughout the day. In your case it is very specific, but worth a look.

hey Kevin thanks for the reply, Yes it does happen everyday at these times and then never again for the rest of the day. With isp i have spectrum and i have wired it to my laptop from time to time and even perviously i had a rax80 from netgear and never had this issue. Just googled but i think spectrum doesn't allow you to check logs so all i can go off is previous routers didn't have this issue. But i will call them and have them check the logs and see if there is anything on there side.

That would be great. The support engineer will follow up with you, so you can reply to the email if there is anything updated by Spectrum.

Rabeet,
PLEASE let me know what you find because despite the earlier comment this is NOT an ISP issue. Did a search on the firmware version and found your post. Will be interesting to hear the resolution. Here are the logs my router generates & would like to know if you see something similar.

literally just purchased the same router from Costco this week and having the exact same problem. I will be returning it if this is a hardware issue.
Thanks!

Sorry to tell you that we haven't gotten a reply from Rabeet since his last response, so his issue was not addressed.
Is your ISP also Spectrum? If you are willing to troubleshoot this further, we would like to forward your case to the support engineers, they will try to address the issue and figure it out.

Hi did you find the solution having the same issue with my AX6000 disconnects to Internet until hard reboot. My location is India and I tried changing the router with my old router and using it as modem and AX6000 in access point and it has been working for more than a week without issue. But all features are shut in Access point if any solution I can make it my main router!
