Model: Archer AX20
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version:

Hoping one of the forum members can help me. I purchased the AX1800 router but only need to use it as a wifi bridge to an optus sagecom router which is the router connected to the nbn modem. My aim is to extend wifi range to improve speed. Currently using an old TP Link WR743ND configured using WDS and DHCP server turned off. Its working but its slow.

I cannot see any WDS option in the wireless settings. Is there anyway to bridge the ax1800 to the optus sagecom via wifi? If not should I return it and request another model? If so which model will do the trick?

@SteveOllie

Check this answer.

If you want a WDS compatible device you can go for Archer C6/A6 or Archer C7/A7.

From AX series I believe AX73 and AX6000 support WDS as well.
